Staircase Construction Methods

When it comes to staircase variation, we can handle any job with ease. Design options include:

• flared/curved stringers
• cut/closed stringers – Stringers run alongside each step (often connecting the balustrade to the staircase) and can be adjusted to suit your design.
• open/closed treads – Open or closed treads (also referred to as risers) can give a staircase an open look and feel as it allows each step to stand alone. This design is commonly used in foyers so you can see through the stairs.
• tread nosings – Tread nosings refer to the shape of the step, where you place your foot. These can be square, have rounded edges, be completely round or so many more options!
• any of the above in any timber you choose
