• Do you provide Colour Consultation service?

• Does Cameron Construction provide a “Design and Build” Solutions?

Yes. Cameron Construction are builders who provide building and design solutions. We engage architects, architectural draftsman and building designers to create beautiful “building designs” for our clients that carefully balance function, aesthetics and feasibility. That is the secret behind our many awards.

• We need to know when work can commence once the permit is granted?

The contract will confirm the start date, which is typically within 21 days of the permit being issued.

• As far as I understand, a builder cannot employ a building surveyor, and it’s our responsibility as the owners to appoint one. However, no one has informed us of this. We’ve heard that permits can be issued quickly?

The owner nominates the surveyor while the builder typically recommends one. We suggest using the surveyor we recommend. They’re reliable and very good at what they do. They’ll keep you informed of any directions and certificates issued through-out the build. If you’d prefer to nominate someone else, that’s perfectly fine. Just let us know, and we will apply for the permit on your behalf. Please note that there may be additional costs depending on the surveyor you select.

• How are payments structured and is there a description of works that need to be completed at each payment stage?

Milestones will be clearly outlined in the building contract including descriptions of each stage. We typically have up to 10 stages.
